Fast-acting, eco-friendly solution for stagnant, murky ponds. RUSH® helps restore water clarity by rapidly breaking down floating organic debris and improving oxygen levels — all without harsh chemicals.
-
Fast-Acting Results: Begins working within hours and lasts 7–10 days.
-
All-Natural Formula: A granular pond water cleaner made without copper or harsh chemicals.
-
Improves Oxygenation: Helps rebalance low-oxygen environments by accelerating natural breakdown processes.
-
Targets Organic Debris: Effective on floating buildup, green scum on rocks, and organic spikes caused by heat or runoff.
-
Safe & Simple Application: Sprinkle directly onto problem areas every 3–7 days or as needed.
-
Fish-Safe When Diluted: For ponds with fish, use 50% of the standard dosage.
When to Use RUSH®?
RUSH® is the go-to solution for improving water quality in stagnant ponds, especially those with thick, matted organic buildup and algae on the surface.
It supports balanced conditions by enhancing nutrient consumption and oxygenation.
Pair with our AquaSphere®PRO or another Healthy Ponds® dispenser for maximum effectiveness during nutrient and temperature spikes.

Simply Sprinkle It On
RUSH® spreads across the pond surface, targeting visible organic matter and boosting the breakdown process using safe, eco-based oxidizers.
Throw them directly on top of the affected areas, and wait between 24 – 48 hours to use. Best used in combination with the Aquasphere Pro.

Additional Information
Rush® improves water quality in stagnant ponds by eliminating common stagnant pond water dangers, such as heavily matted, floating organic matter on the pond’s surface. Rush® enhances nutrient-consumption activity and increases oxygenation in the water, accelerating the decomposition of floating organic matter. It is best used with the AquaSphere®PRO. This all-natural stagnant pond water treatment eliminates the dangers of stagnant pond water and treats low-oxygen environments. It spreads onto the targeted organic material and lasts 7-10 days.
1. Floating Organic Matter Treatment
Use when your pond has visible buildup like mats, scum, or shoreline gunk.
Dosage:7.5
- 4.5 kg treats 38 m²
- 11.25 kg treats 95 m²
Application:
- Apply 0.5 kg per 5 m²
- Reapply every 3–7 days as needed
Note for fish ponds: Reduce dosage by 50% and treat every 2–3 days to avoid oxygen depletion.
Tip: Organic matter decomposition can temporarily lower oxygen levels — aeration is recommended.
2. Water Clarity & Suspended Solids Treatment
Use when pond water appears cloudy or murky.
Dosage:
- 4.5 kg treats 113,500 L
- 11.25 kg treats 283,750 L
Application:
- Ponds: 4.5 kg per 113,500 L every 7 days
- Ornamental Water Features: 1 cup per 17,000 L every 7 days
3. Health Maintenance
Use when you want to maintain long-term pond health or have a history of poor water quality.
Dosage:
- 4.5 kg treats 946,000 L
- 11.25 kg treats 2,365,00 L
Application:
- Ponds: 4.5 kg per 946,000 L every 7 days
- Ornamental Features: ¼ cup per 9,000 L (9.5 m³)
Important Notes
- Do NOT apply other Bioverse microbial products within 24 hours of RUSH® treatment.
- Always calculate pond size:
Safety & Oxygen Guidance
RUSH® and other microbial products require oxygen for effective bioremediation.
Risk factors: Low oxygen + high organic matter + large fish populations = possible fish death if untreated.
Recommendations:
- Test oxygen levels before treating fish ponds.
- Use aeration systems in fish-heavy ponds.
- Avoid treating stagnant, shallow, or heavily stocked ponds without addressing oxygen first.
Pond Health Facts
- Heat reduces oxygen levels in water.
- Fish overstocking and excess debris lower oxygen.
- Shallow ponds naturally hold less oxygen than deeper ones.
- Make sure the water temperature is 7⁰C or above
- Repeat every 7-10 days. as needed
- Repeat every 2-3 days when treating floating organic matter
- Spread directly on the surface
- Reduce the dosage by 50% and treat every 2-3 days in ponds with high fish populations
- Evenly distribute
- Keep any extra RUSH in a dry place
- Do NOT over-treat
